Software Engineer 2022-present
Sphere Commerce / Remote, United States
  • Worked remotely on a payment processing platform for a smaller company of <300 people.
  • Contributed to bug fixes and develpment of new features, using the Bugzilla tracking system.
  • Technology stack consists of a PHP/JS frontend, C++ transaction processor, Java logging system, and PostgreSQL/sqlite3 databases, all operating on Debian-based operating systems.
Software Engineer 2020-2022
Leidos Corp / St. Petersburg, Florida, United States
  • Worked on a team of less than 10 in an Agile environment of 2-week sprints
  • Converted and upgraded existing projects on CentOS 7 to 8.3 then to RHEL 8, updating dependencies and changing build files for the newer Unix OS’s
  • Ran point on integrating various software and hardware components into a novel checked baggage scanner.
  • Created and edited system files to create a unique kickstart installation of CentOS specifically for internal purposes.
